Other info | ● The minimum age for Seawalker helmet diving is 12 years of age. ● Certain medical conditions, medications and height restrictions may preclude some people from participating in optional in-water activities. For advice, contact our office. ● After a single helmet dive a wait of 12 hours is recommended before ascending to an altitude of 300 metres or greater. If doing multiple dives an interval of 24 hours is suggested. ● Diving can be a strenuous activity, please use caution and inform crew of any medical conditions. ● This activity is conducted by operators other than Great Adventures. ● With fluctuations in world oil prices, it may be necessary to apply a fuel surcharge to your ticket price. In such cases any charge will be collected on departure. |

Snorkelling at Green Island, with its lifeguard patrolled beach, is a safe and exciting way to introduce yourself to the Great Barrier Reef. Snorkel gear includes snorkel, mask and fins; prescriptions masks, flotation vests and Lycra suits are available for hire from the dive shop.
Self Guided Green Island Eco Walk
Green Island is one of 300 coral cays on the Great Barrier Reef; it is the only coral cay to have a dense, shady vine-thicket rainforest. Green Island is home to over 120 species of plants, over 55 species of birds and a unique mixture of coastal and rainforest plants all within its 1.6km circumference.
