Turn right on to Camden road then left on to Old Menangle Rd. The Rydges Campbelltown is at the end of the road on the right-hand side. ● By Train From Central Station take the T8 Airport Line to Campbelltown station. Travel time is approximately 68 minutes. | Check-in requirements | Please ensure you arrive at the meeting point /departure point 15 minutes before your scheduled departure time to allow enough time to check in. Regrettably, failure to arrive before this time will most likely be classified as no-show and result in forfeiting the booking and it cannot be refunded or transferred. | Other info | 【Important Post-Covid Service Information】 - Should you feel unwell in the days before your flight please call 02 49909242 to postpone your flight. - Should you feel unwell on the morning of your flight, please do not arrive for your flight. You MUST call the Duty Pilot to advise that you will not be able to arrive for your flight. The Duty Pilot's contact number will be provided to you the afternoon before your flight by text message and/or email. You will also need to provide a Doctor Certificate to advise that you are unfit to fly. Failure to advise cancellation and supply doctor certificate will result in the cancellation of your ticket and you will not be able to rebook. - You will receive your flight check-in link the afternoon prior to your flight. Each member of your flight party will need to follow this link and complete the check-in process prior to arriving for your flight. - Your temperature will be taken upon arrival. Should your temperature be 38.0 or higher you will not be able to undertake your flight but will be able to reschedule for a later date. - Masks will be made available for you. You may be asked to wear a mask and/or gloves throughout the morning, including during the bus transfers and /or balloon flight or interactions with other passengers or staff. - Please be aware that for safety reasons, hand sanitizer is not able to be carried onboard the balloon as it is classed as a flammable liquid. - The Service Provider will not be able to provide assistance to passengers accessing and disembarking the basket so please consider postponing your flight if you feel you will need assistance in accessing or disembarking that the basket. - Card payment only for purchase of souvenirs, where possible. ************************************************************************************************************ ● Local Contact The experience schedule is subject to ongoing change. If you do not have one at time of booking, please update us with your Australia local mobile number as soon as it's available. ● Tour Duration The balloon ride itself is usually 50 – 60 minutes in duration. The total time you are with the tour on the morning of your flight is approximately 4 hours. This includes a flight briefing from your pilot, completing some paperwork, travelling to and from the launch and landing sites and the champagne celebration and/or breakfast afterwards. ● Child Policy Children need to be aged 7 years or older and accompanied by an adult to fly. They will also need to be at least 120cm tall so they can see over the top of the basket. Please also keep in mind that the burner noise can be a bit frightening to young children. ● Fitness Reasonably fit and healthy with no significant knee, hip or back problems, no recent surgeries, broken bones or existing conditions that may make a balloon landing uncomfortable for you, and you are not currently pregnant, then you should be fit to fly. You will be required to climb into the balloon basket using the foot holds cut in to the side of the basket, stand for one hour and, in the instance of a bumpy landing, absorb a small impact which is similar on your joints to that of jumping off a low chair. You will also need to be able to hold on to the safety handles when the balloon is landing. At the time of booking, you will be asked to confirm that all members of your party are fit & well with: - No significant knee problems, - No significant hip problems, - No significant back or neck problems, - No recent surgeries or broken bones, - No other existing conditions that would preclude them from following the pilots instructions; Assuming the landing positions with knees bent when instructed to do so, Absorbing a small bump when the ballooning is landing or would prevent them from holding on to the safety handles when the balloon is landing. - Are able to stand for one hour unassisted, - Do not weigh more than 140kg individually and children do not weigh more than 50kg individually, - Are not currently pregnant. Check with your medical practitioner if you have a pre-existing medical condition that may be affected by the physical nature of hot air ballooning. Please be advised you will be asked to sign a health statement and waiver at the meeting point prior to your flight. You agree to indemnify The Balloon Company, it's owners, officers and employees against any incident related to your health occurring during or after the supply of the Services. The Service Provider does not fly pregnant ladies, the disabled, or people recovering from major operations. ● Personal Belongings Personal belongings taken on board at the passenger's own risk. Ballooning is an outdoor adventure activity, and the Service Provider cannot be held liable for damage to any clothing and/ or other personal property. ● Weather, Mechanical, Staffing & Other Safety Conditions If the Service Provider considers, in its sole discretion, that weather conditions are unsuitable or unsafe to proceed, it may cancel a scheduled Flight at any time prior to launch. The Service Provider may also, in its sole discretion, cancel a scheduled Flight due to lack of staff, mechanical issues, less than minimum Flight numbers being achieved or the existence of any other condition which may pose a risk to safety. In the unfortunate event that a flight is cancelled by unsuitable weather you have plenty of time to reschedule but do note that bookings are non-refundable. Rescheduling is subject to Flight availability and must be taken within the original validity period of the Ticket or Voucher. The Service Provider will not be liable for any direct or indirect costs incurred by the Customer or any Passenger in relation to the cancellation or termination of a Flight, including any travel, accommodation or other expenses incurred by any Customer or Passenger or the inability of the Passenger to book a suitable replacement Flight. 2 Overview
Sydney Camden 60 Minutes Sunrise Hot Air Balloon Flight with Champagne Breakfast Package
Camden sunrise balloon flights meet at Camden Valley Inn, located in the heart of the beautiful Macarthur region, with flights taking in views of the picturesque landscape, mountains, rivers and historic homesteads of the region.
Camden Balloon flights take place each weekend and selected weekdays, over the beautiful & historic Macarthur region, a hidden gem just 70 minutes from the city centre. The sunrise flights over Camden are approximately one hour in duration and finish with a delightful breakfast at Camden Valley Inn following the flight. Hot air ballooning is an adventure activity and whilst there are no fixed timelines, your entire experience, including breakfast after the flight, should take approximately 3.5-4.5 hours.
ARRIVAL
Your pilots and crew will be on hand to welcome you when you arrive at Camden Valley Inn on Remembrance Drive in Cawdor at the designated time. Feel free to ask any questions about your experience as you sign-in. See how the pilot checks the morning's local winds conditions and listen while he or she gives you a short flight briefing.
LAUNCH SITE
Your Camden Balloon Flight adventure begins with a short trip to your launch site. This is determined by your pilot and depends on the wind direction on the morning. We have over a dozen launch sites to choose from in the Macarthur region. This is a great opportunity to get to know your pilot and crew and ask any questions your may have.
PRE-FLIGHT
Once at the launch site, it will take around 25 minutes for your balloon to be inflated and standing upright ready for boarding. You are welcome to help with the setup of the balloon or simply stand back and take photos as your aircraft takes shape and comes to life.
THE FLIGHT
As the sun rises over the beautiful Macarthur region, you will ascend into the sky in your colourful balloon. As your balloon drifts gently along on the morning breeze you will feel completely secure within your basket, with very little sensation of movement. During your flight you may find yourself floating just above the treetops then moments later effortlessly ascending to heights of 2000 feet or more.
BREAKFAST
Following your flight, the excitement of the morning continues over a delicious breakfast at the Camden Valley Inn. Relax and enjoy a delicious a la carte breakfast with your fellow passengers and your pilot as you celebrate one of the most exhilarating mornings of your life.
Hot Air Ballooning flights over Camden are approximately one hour in duration and finish with a delightful breakfast at Camden Valley Inn following the flight.
