Please print and complete this form for all persons travelling on your booking the morning of departure. If your risk rating falls within the red ‘high risk’ area do not attend the airport and please contact the Service Provider on +61 7 5599 4509 advising you are unable to travel. - To minimise physical contact between our guests and team we are kindly requesting cashless payments when on Island. - Temperature testing all personnel arriving to Lady Elliot Island (including guests, staff, contractors etc) via a non-contact infrared thermometer will take place before boarding any aircraft. Any temperature 37-37.5 degrees Celsius will be considered with caution. Any temperature equalling 37.6 degrees Celsius or higher will be referred to as ‘high risk’ and travel to Lady Elliot Island will not be permitted without further medical clarification or clearance. To download the app search ‘Lady Elliot Island’ – the App is available in five languages, English, Chinese, Japanese, German and French. ● Health when Snorkelling Snorkelling does not require a Medical Questionnaire or a Dive Medical in Australia, but it can be a strenuous physical activity that may increase the health and safety risks for persons suffering from any medical condition that may be made worse by physical exertion (such as heart disease, asthma and lung disease), any medical condition that can result in loss of consciousness (such as epilepsy or diabetes), or having a low level of personal fitness due to age or physical condition. Some medical conditions, such as asthma and respiratory disease, may also be aggravated simply through exposure to cold water or salt water mist. ● Safe Snorkelling Practices - Check the tides and prevailing conditions with the Dive Shop before entering the water and avoid areas where waves are breaking. - Take note of the current direction and tide times, especially when snorkelling on western side of island. - Only snorkel in the Lagoon during recommended times, based on high tide. - Never snorkel after consuming alcohol. - Always snorkel with another person (buddy) and ensure you stay together and keep a close eye out for each other. - Know your own limitations and don’t exceed them. - Use the entry/exit channels marked on the map. - Keep clear of moving vessels at all times. ● All activities are subject to weather and tide conditions ● Medical Lady Elliot Island is a remote location, 80km from the Queensland coast. Lady Elliot Island is a coral cay located at the southern tip of the World Heritage Listed Great Barrier Reef. Situated within a highly protected 'Green Zone' the island is a sanctuary for over 1,200 species of marine life and is known for its abundance of manta rays, turtles, amazing array of spectacular marine life and unspoilt coral reef.
The Tour
The Lady Elliot Island Great Barrier Reef all inclusive Day Tour is the only one of its type in Australia. The visit allows you to view one of the most pristine sections of Australia's Great Barrier Reef from the air as well as from above and below the water all in one day.
Your tour commences with a pick up from your Gold Coast hotel at approx 06:00 and a complimentary transfer to our private terminal to board your scenic flight to the coral cay of Lady Elliot Island. Lady Elliot is regarded as one of the best snorkelling and diving locations on the reef, famous for its unspoilt coral reef and amazing array of marine life! On the way enjoy the aerial views of the Gold Coast, North and South Stradbroke Islands, Moreton Island and Fraser Island. Upon arrival on Lady Elliot Island, your guide will take you on a brief orientation tour of the island and escort you to the Day Guest facilities to collect your snorkel equipment.
You will then join a glass bottom boat & guided snorkel tour to view a large variety of coral and brilliantly coloured fish, with the possibility to encounter turtles, dolphins and the resident manta rays. Lunch is served in the restaurant. After lunch, join your guide for fish feeding in the Fish Pond and at 14:30pm depart on a scenic flight back to the Gold Coast. The tour concludes at approx. 16:30 with a return transfer to your hotel.

Lady Elliot Island Eco Resort charters Seair Pacific to provide scenic air transfers to Lady Elliot Island. On the way enjoy the aerial views of the Gold Coast, North and South Stradbroke Islands, Moreton Island and Fraser Island. The flight time from Gold Coast is approximately 100mins. Seair operates aircraft that can carry 9 or 13 passengers.
- Snorkelling on Lady Elliot Island
You don't need to be a diver to experience the underwater magic on Lady Elliot Island. Snorkelling is a great way to get up close and personal with the amazing marine life and explore the wonders of the Great Barrier Reef. Snorkelling on the reef surrounding Lady Elliot island is easily accessible straight off the beaches or guests can book on to one of the daily glass bottom boat/guided snorkel tours or snorkel safaris.

- LOOK - DO NOT TAKE OR TOUCH - it is illegal to take marine life such as coral, shells and sea stars. Touching can hurt them and you.
- WATCH YOUR FINS - Do not stand, kick or rest on coral - even rocks and dead looking coral is alive and fragile.
- LET MARINE LIFE BE - Never chase, corner or hold onto marine life and do not interfere with their natural behaviour.
- CAUTION TAKING PHOTOS - To not damage or disturb marine life.
Please Note: Enjoy snorkelling as long as you like but it's important to watch those tides and currents, cover up and wear plenty of sunscreen.
- Glass Bottom Boat/Guided Snorkelling Tour
Board the custom built vessel for a safety briefing and 20 minutes expert commentary about the coral and marine creatures that can be viewed through the glass enroute to the snorkelling spot. Guests then have the opportunity to snorkel for 30 minutes to discover the wonders of the underwater world and meet the resident marine creatures of Great Barrier Reef. These tours depart daily depending on tides and weather conditions.
Please Note: For your own safety, guests must wear reef walking shoes (with covered toes) or crocs when participating in any of the Glass Bottom Boat/Snorkel tours.
- Fish Feeding
An amazing array of reef fish appear at the 'fish pool' every day. Come with your reef walking shoes and immerse yourself in this awesome experience. Your guide will enlighten you regarding the fish and the way we feed them within the Marine Park. Duration approximately 15 minutes.
