| Reconfirmation requirements | It is the passenger's responsibility to re-confirm on the night before travel between 18:00-19:00. Failure to do so may result in miscommunication and failure to fly, forfeiting your booking altogether. | Check-in requirements | Please arrive 10 minutes prior to departure. There might be 5-10 minutes delay depends on the traffic on the day. If you think the pick is late or you are not being picked up, please call The Service Provider and quote your confirmation number to double check. | |||
| What to bring/wear | ● Wear clothes suitable for hiking. It is an active morning in the outdoors, so do wear clothes that can get stained or dirty. ● Closed toe, sturdy shoes shoes are COMPULSORY. DO NOT WEAR high-heeled shoes, thongs/flip flops or open-toe shoes. ● Warm socks. Your feet can get wet and cold in the early morning dew, you may like to bring a change of socks. ● Hat and sunglasses (The burners radiate heat, wearing a hat is recommended) ● Layered clothing. The experience meet before sunrise so depending on the time of year and weather, it can be extremely cold. You can always take off your jumper/ jacket in the basket if you need to. Generally it will not be any colder in the air during the balloon flight than on the ground. ● Water bottle ● Please note: The balloon burners sometimes drip water mixed with Carbon. The Service Provider will not be responsible for clothing that is stained or damaged as a result of the adventure activity. |

It is a natural amphitheatre, which makes it the perfect location for a ballooning tour: great views, native fauna and flora, excellent food and wine and stable weather. Let the breeze usher you along the corridors of grape vines and over the Yarra River as you lose yourself in the breathtaking views of mountains that surround the valley. This region has excellent locally grown food/wine and makes for a brilliant full day in the countryside!

About the Yarra Valley Balloons
- Provides a 365 degree view, perfect for sightseeing wineries and countryside beauty within the Yarra Valley.
- The baskets include cushioning around the inside for comfort as well as rope handles when in the landing position.
- The balloons are safe, comfortable and meet the standards of CASA.
- Balloon sizes vary depending on the pilot flying and their license. Baskets can hold 10, 16 and up to 24 passengers.
- On any one day, there're anywhere between 2-9 balloons fly at once.
- A carbon neutral flight
- Children under the age of 6 years old are unable to fly due to safety regulations.

SCHEDULE FOR THE DAY

The entire experience lasts 4-5 hours in total so usually completed between 10:00-11:00.
- Night before your flight (anytime after 18:00): You MUST check your flight details to find out if the flight is proceeding and the pickup time. For details, please refer to your booking confirmation letter for flight confirmation procedures.
- 1.5 hours before sunrise (time confirmed night before): Meet pilots and crew at designated time and venue; the Ballooning Company will drive all passengers to launch site
- Launch: Passengers can assist with the set up/ inflation of the balloon
- Sunrise: Fly for approximately 1 hour
- Land: Passengers can assist to pack up the balloon which is quite fun
- Breakfast: the Ballooning Company drive all passengers back to meeting point which is where breakfast is held

● If you cancel at least 14 day(s) in advance of the scheduled departure, there is no cancellation fee.
● If you cancel between 0 and 13 day(s) in advance of the scheduled departure, there is a 100 percent cancellation fee.
● If no show, no refund.
