Kangaroo Island is a Ligurian Bee Sanctuary. Importing honey, pollen or other bee products is prohibited. A fine of up to $10,000 may apply. Please help protect Kangaroo Island and keep it safe from pests and diseases. Do not bring any bee or honey products, unwashed potatoes, vine cuttings, foxes or rabbits onto the island. Penalties may apply. Kangaroo Island Council must be notified by the owner of any dogs or cats visiting the island. Please contact their Customer Service Centre on 8553 4500. Enjoy a freshly prepared lunch, followed by a guided walk on the beach among a colony of rare and wild Australian sea lions with a National Parks Ranger at Seal Bay Conservation Park.

Next, visit Raptor Domain to watch the 'In-Flight' Australian Birds of Prey Display. Enjoy a delightful interactive experience and meet an array of Australian birds and raptors. From here you will travel to Kangaroo Island Wildlife Park where you can get up close with Koalas, hand feed Kangaroos and Wallabies and experience Kangaroo Island Wildlife at your fingertips!

  • EMU RIDGE EUCALYPTUS DISTILLERY & LUNCH

    Eucalytpus Oil is produced naturally from the Kangaroo Island Narrow-Leaf Mallee which is the dense multi-stemmed tree growing at the sides of the road. Eucalyptus oil has many uses, disinfectant, insect repellent, soothes bites and stings, decongestant, stain remover and cleaner. The traditional distilling processes to extract the eucalyptus oil from the leaves will be explained and you will be taken on a guided tour of the distillery. Visit the shop and see the many products using eucalyptus oil, which are available for purchase. Enjoy a freshly prepared Aussie barbecue lunch.

  • SEAL BAY

    Seal Bay is the home of the Australian sea lion and the third largest breeding colony in Australia. You will have the opportunity to see these creatures close-up, swimming in the surf or basking in the sand. Seal Bay is a conservation park and you will be taken down onto the beach by a Parks Interpretative Officer. Take your camera with you, as this is a unique opportunity to walk on the beach with these animals.

RAPTOR DOMAIN - BIRDS OF PREY SHOW

  • An awe-inspiring In-Flight Display of Australian Birds of Prey, Wedge Tailed Eagles, Kookaburras, Osprey, Sea Eagles, Australian Kestrels, Australian Hobby Falcons and different varieties of owls. Join Dave and Leeza Irwin and their wonderful presenters for an amazing interactive experience while the birds demonstrate their natural skills, adaptions and hunting techniques.
  • KANGAROO ISLAND WILDLIFE PARK

    With flames on their doorstep and an entire town evacuated Sam Mitchell and some close family friends stayed and protected over 700 animals in their care. With over 150,000 hectares lost due the fires a large number of Koalas are being cared for here as they recover. The Kangaroo Island Wildlife Park will also provide you and opportunity to walk amongst kangaroos and wallabies and you can hand feed them.
