2 Overview
Located on the beach front in Cervantes, just 17km from the famous “Pinnacles National Park”, the lobster processing factory offers the complete lobster experience from lobster pot to cooking pot!
The Lobster Shack provides a relaxed yet exciting environment for the public to experience all elements of the elusive Western Rock Lobster.
Lobster Shack Self Guided Factory Tours
Factory tours provide visitors with a firsthand look into the regions multi-million dollar lobster industry by taking a journey through the LIVE lobster processing plant at Indian Ocean Rock Lobster.
The adventure begins with a video presentation on our boats, finding out first-hand how the exclusive Western Rock Lobster is captured in the wild and transported to shore.
Once at our doors visitors will be guided through our newly refurbished factory on our overhead walkway, where they stand directly above our live holding lanes that can home up to 20 tonnes of live Western Rock Lobster; this is a sight in itself. Here they can follow the lobsters journey from the sorting process to the live holding lanes and then on into the Live Pack out room where they are prepared for their journey to destinations all over the world.
A multilingual audio guide is available for all guests, providing a range of languages, so our guests can take the tour at their own pace.

● If you cancel at least 7 day(s) in advance of the scheduled departure, there is no cancellation fee.
● If you cancel between 0 and 6 day(s) in advance of the scheduled departure, there is a 100 percent cancellation fee.
● If no show, no refund.
