| Check-in requirements | Please arrive 10 minutes prior to the pick-up time at your booked pick up location. There might be 5-10 minutes delay depends on the traffic on the day. | What to bring/wear | ● Wear clothes suitable for hiking. It is an active morning in the outdoors, so do wear clothes that can get stained or dirty. ● Closed toe, sturdy shoes shoes are COMPULSORY. DO NOT WEAR high-heeled shoes, thongs/flip flops or open-toe shoes. ● Warm socks. Your feet can get wet and cold in the early morning dew, you may like to bring a change of socks. ● Water bottle ● Hat and sunglasses (The burners radiate heat, wearing a hat is recommended) ● Layered clothing. The experience meet before sunrise so depending on the time of year and weather, it can be extremely cold. You can always take off your jumper/ jacket in the basket if you need to. About the Melbourne Balloons
- A 365 degree view of Melbourne and surrounds. We cannot guarantee a flight over the city as it completely depends on the wind. You could end up flying over the city with sightseeing landmarks such as Eureka, MCG and Port Philip Bay or over the suburbs with a view of the city.
- The baskets include cushioning around the inside for comfort as well as rope handles when in the landing position.
- A safe, comfortable experience which meets the standards of CASA.
- Each basket can hold 10-12 passengers.
- Only up to 5 balloons at any one time over Melbourne

The entire experience lasts 4-5 hours in total so usually completed between 10:00 - 11:00.
- Night before your flight (anytime after 18:00): You MUST check your flight details to find out if the flight is proceeding and the pickup time. For details, please refer to your booking confirmation letter for flight confirmation procedures.
- 1.5 hours before sunrise (time confirmed night before): Meet pilots and crew at designated time and venue; the Ballooning Company will drive all passengers to launch site
- Launch: Passengers can assist with the set up/ inflation of the balloon
- Sunrise: Fly for approximately 1 hour
- Land: Passengers can assist to pack up the balloon which is quite fun
- Breakfast: All passengers back to meeting point which is where breakfast is held

● If you cancel between 0 and 13 day(s) in advance of the scheduled departure, there is a 100 percent cancellation fee.
