From Sydney Harbour to Bondi Beach, this experience has Sydney's famous sites and secret spots covered. The first part of the morning is to collect you from your hotel and take you on a road discovery of The Rocks, Walsh Bay, Dawes Point, The Botanical Garden and Paddington's fashionable laneways en route to the wharf where you join "Iluka" for a 3.5 hour cruise of Sydney Harbour with a gourmet lunch.

The bus will pick you up at your city hotel for the start of the best of what Sydney has to offer. A half day seeing Sydney from the water and the other half the best Sydney has to offer by road. All done in privacy and luxury away from the tourist traps.

  • 09:30 – Bus departs from your hotel and commences the first portion of the land tour. This is a great introduction to the icons of Sydney where the tour starts appropriately from the birth place of Australia, The Rocks. Here you will learn about the settlement of Australia and the early days of life in Sydney. The tour weaves around the back streets of The Rocks, under the Harbour Bridge and on to Walsh Bay. This is the recently developed theatre district of Sydney.
  • En route to The Botanic Gardens you will stop under the Harbour Bridge for a magnificent view back to The Sydney Opera House at Dawes Point.
  • After some iconic shots the tour continues to The Botanical Gardens where the vista back to The Sydney Opera House, Harbour Bridge, Government House, Kirribilli House and Admiralty House all within view.
  • Following the drive around The Botanical Gardens you will head to Woolloomooloo and into Kings Cross, the hub of Sydney nightlife.
  • The next suburb is Paddington, known for its historical period terrace houses, fashionable laneways and art galleries.
  • The tour will make the way through some back streets of Paddington and into Woollahra. From here you commence the decent to Double Bay, the Rodeo Drive of Sydney shopping and the start of some of Australia's most exclusive real estate, the Eastern Suburbs.
  • 11:30 – The tour stops by a local wharf in Rose Bay where you meet your skipper and crew to commence your Sydney Harbour Cruise aboard the luxury motor 48' cruiser, "Iluka".
  • Following a short on-board briefing the cruise commences taking in some of Sydney's most iconic landmarks. Cruises to the north side of the harbour, past Kirribilli, home to the Prime Minister and Governor General and under The Sydney Harbour Bridge and into Darling Harbour. Then turn to the east past the new Barangaroo development and pass within meters of the Sydney Opera House with views back to the Sydney Harbour Bridge and up the harbour to the Eastern Suburbs. The cruise make its way east past Woolloomooloo and Garden Island on the way to a quiet picturesque bay for a wonderful gourmet lunch.
  • Lunch will include an assortment of fresh local seafood, delicious salads and some BBQ treats. The cruise conclude the meal with a homemade desert. This is accompanied with a selection of local beers and wine.
  • Following lunch you will head back to Rose Bay via the magnificent waterfront properties of Double Bay, Point Piper and Vaucluse.
  • At approximately 15:30 you will arrive back to the Rose Bay Wharf.
  • The second half of this discovery of Sydney by road recommences as the bus drives a short distance from Rose Bay to Vaucluse House. This is a magnificent of colonial architecture set in a manicured landscape.
  • Following the stop off at Vaucluse House, bus continues to the most eastern suburb of Watsons Bay via some of Sydney's most affluent real estate.
  • 16:00 – Stops at Watsons Bay where you will visit the ocean side of South Head call “The Gap”, close to the entrance to Sydney Harbour. There are dramatic cliff views from this location and amazing views back to the city.
  • 16:30 – Departs Watsons Bay and make the way to one of Australia's most famous beaches, Bondi.
  • 17:00 – Arrives at Bondi Beach. In Bondi, you can take a short coast walk or venture onto the white sands of Bondi Beach and dip your toes in the ocean.
  • 17:30 – Returns back to your Sydney CBD hotel.
