2 Overview

Spend an amazing 2 days travelling on an Adelaide to Melbourne Tour along the Great Ocean Road through the Grampians National park from Adelaide to Melbourne. Visit some stunning places including the 12 Apostles, Loch Ard Gorge, Mackenzie Falls, Halls Gap and some other magnificent sights throughout the region.

Itinerary

  • Adelaide - Grampians National Park (- / - / Dinner)

    The Adelaide to Melbourne tour departs from Adelaide early in the morning. Makes the way towards the National Heritage listed Grampians National Park to see the majestic mountain ranges and iconic views. Along the way, stop for lunch (at own expense) around the township of Horsham. After grabbing a bite, continue the journey into the heart of Grampians.

    Visit Halls Gap followed by a walk down to MacKenzie Falls, the only all-year-round flowing waterfall in the entire region. Then spend the afternoon exploring this enchanting landscape and be amazed by the spectacular views. Visit Reeds and Boroka Lookout where you will have a perfect opportunity to capture your surroundings. Last stop of the day will be The Grampians National Park, home to Kangaroos, Wallabies, Koalas and many more fantastic animals. Staying overnight in Halls Gap.

  • Grampians - Great Ocean Road - Melbourne (Breakfast / - / -)

    Up early to start travelling the Great Ocean Road. First stop of the day is the London Bridge. Get on your walking shoes again to walk down the 72 steps at Loch Ard Gorge, and experience the limestone cliffs. The highlight of the day will be the Twelve Apostles where you will have ample time to capture every angle of this incredible rock formation. Enjoy a guided walk through a temperate rainforest at Maits Rest, the closest living example of what life was like when Dinosaurs roamed the earth. Stop in Apollo Bay for lunch and be stretching the legs. Then make a stop to do some koala spotting before taking on that last part of the Great Ocean Road. Travel back to the first part of the Great Ocean Road, The Memorial Arch. Make the most of a great photo opportunity at some famed surf locations before you stop for a beach walk. After that, make your final journey into cosmopolitan Melbourne.
