How to get there SEA LIFE Melbourne is located on the corner of Flinders Street and King Street, Melbourne. It is situated on the Yarra River, opposite Crown Entertainment Complex.

● By Car
While there is no public car parking at SEA LIFE Melbourne, there are several public car parking facilities available only a short walk away. Please check the Aquarium official website for detailed parking information before travelling.

● By Public Transport
- Train: SEA LIFE Melbourne is a five minute walk from either Flinders or Southern Cross train stations.
- Tram: The SEA LIFE Melbourne tram stop is located on Flinders Street, directly out the front of the attraction. It services routes 70 and 75, and the FREE City Circle Tram.

Check-in requirements ● 10:00/11:00 - Divers are required on site at 08:45 for a safety briefing/induction.
● 14:30/15:30 - Divers are required on site at 12:45 for a safety briefing/induction.
● Non-arrival or arrival after this time will result in non-admittance to the dive at SEA LIFE Melbourne Aquarium’s discretion, without refund. Missed dives will not be re-scheduled.

● Medical Conditions
If you suffer from or have suffered from any of the following medical conditions OR If you suffer from any other medical conditions, including recent injuries, surgeries or psychological conditions then you will be required to obtain a fully completed medical clearance from A QUALIFIED DIVE DOCTOR prior to booking in for the dive.

- High blood pressure
- Pregnancy (pregnant women are not permitted to dive)

Scuba Diving is physically demanding and can be dangerous if you suffer from certain medical conditions. It is very important that you, the diver, do not suffer from any contraindications to diving.

Please make sure you read the full and up-to-date medical form (https://www.melbourneaquarium.com.au/tickets/shark-dive-xtreme/)  before booking.

Failure to pass the medical declaration on the day will also incur a fee.

● Fitness Requirement
Scuba Diving is physically demanding, and divers must be able to lift and walk with approximately 35kg

● Non-English Speaking Divers
For health and safety reasons, all divers MUST be able to speak English.

● No Drink and Dive
Do NOT drink alcohol from the night before until your dive is completed. Divers must not have drugs or alcohol in their system when arrived at site.

● No Dive and Fly
Cannot dive within 24 hours of a flight.

● Swimming Ability
Divers must have a reasonable degree of swimming ability

● Child Policy
Divers MUST be at least 14 years of age to participate - any diver under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian in attendance at the dive safety briefing on the day

● Personal Items
Divers are not permitted to take any other items; eg. Cameras, video cameras, knives, etc.; into the aquarium other than those supplied by SEA LIFE Melbourne Aquarium. The use of personal items such as wet suits, go pros and other underwater equipment is not permitted.

● General Behavior
All Divers must obey the directions and instructions of SEA LIFE Melbourne Aquarium Dive Leaders, must not disturb other divers or interfere with the Dive Leader's ability to conduct the dive in a safe and secure manner and must not damage, deface or remove any part of the Oceanarium or any of the equipment being used. SEA LIFE Melbourne Aquarium retains the right to remove from the dive any diver who does not comply with these terms, without refund.

● Animal Behavior
It is possible to predict how the animals will behave for every dive, this experience cannot guarantee that a shark will approach every diver in the tank.

● SEA LIFE Melbourne will refuse admittance to any person who is under the influence of drugs or alcohol or behaving badly in an offensive or uncooperative manner, without refund.
