How to get there SEA LIFE Melbourne is located on the corner of Flinders Street and King Street, Melbourne. It is situated on the Yarra River, opposite Crown Entertainment Complex.

● By Car
While there is no public car parking at SEA LIFE Melbourne, there are several public car parking facilities available only a short walk away. Please check the Aquarium official website for detailed parking information before travelling.

● By Public Transport
- Train: SEA LIFE Melbourne is a five minute walk from either Flinders or Southern Cross train stations.
- Tram: The SEA LIFE Melbourne tram stop is located on Flinders Street, directly out the front of the attraction. It services routes 70 and 75, and the FREE City Circle Tram.

Check-in requirements Please ensure you arrive at the Aquarium 30 minutes before your Penguin Passport start time to allow enough time to check in. Passengers that fail to arrive before this time may be classified as no-show.
What to bring/wear ⚠ You MUST wear/bring socks on the day of your experience. Failure to do this may result in the tour being cancelled.
Other info ● You must not come into contact with birds 24 hours prior to your Penguin Passport experience

● If you experience Flu/Cold/Gastro/Respiration infection within 48 hours of your experience, you will need to call The Aquarium to reschedule

● No jewellery, watches, mobile phones or cameras can be taken on tour

● If you have trouble navigating stairs, please let us know in advance BEFORE making your booking online

● You MUST wear/bring socks on the day of your experience. Failure to do this may result in the tour being cancelled.

● You must be 14 years or older for our penguin experience. Children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Journey back in time and meet the pre-historic giants of the ocean at the latest, must-see Ancient Oceans exhibit. Visitors will discover more about the magnificent ancient creatures and get close to some remarkable animals that have lived for millions of years. With interactive animal displays, magical marine stories, and expert keeper presentations, SEA LIFE Melbourne is sure to inspire love for the oceans.

Penguin Passport

Penguin Passport is your ticket to a once-in-a-lifetime encounter with SEA LIFE Melbourne's colony of sub-Antarctic penguins. Suit up into the Antarctic snow gear and get set for your 45 minute penguin encounter tour!

The Penguin Passport experience takes you onto the ice where you have the exclusive opportunity to get up close to the colony of majestic King and cheeky Gentoo penguins. You will also have the opportunity to go behind the scenes and see the penguin food preparation and veterinary areas, as well as how the state-of-the-art exhibit maintains its sub-zero temperatures.

Penguin Passport runs daily at 2pm with a maximum of 4 people per group. Spots fill quickly; book early to avoid missing out on this incredible experience!
