Economy Program
Staff here at Tobruk Sheep Station are dedicated to ensuring all guests learn more about what it is that makes Australia a special country and to give them many fond memories to share with their family and friends. The Economy Program runs from 10:30 to 12:30.
Economy Program Highlights

- Stockman/Jillaroo on horseback: As the coach arrives at the entrance to Tobruk, guests are welcomed by a Stockman on horseback riding toward them cracking his whip.
- Billy Tea and Damper: Billy tea and damper is a traditional outback refreshment which Tobruk serve in this unique setting as either morning or afternoon tea.
- Whip Cracking and Boomerang Throwing Demonstration: Tobruk's skilful stockmen demonstrate the types of whip cracks used in the mustering process as well as a variety of tricks and whip cracking techniques.
- Sheep Muster and Working Dog Display: A demonstration is given on the drafting of sheep through the yards by the dogs.
- Duck Show: Witness the baby working dogs learning their new mustering skills as they practice moving the cute Indian Runner Ducks around the playpen.
- Sheep Shearing: The art of shearing a sheep is demonstrated in the most unique shearing shed in Australia.

● If you cancel at least 14 day(s) in advance of the scheduled departure, there is no cancellation fee. ● If you cancel between 0 and 13 day(s) in advance of the scheduled departure, there is a 100 percent cancellation fee. ● If no show, no refund.
